North Billerica Foundation Modifications - North Billerica, MA
The Industrial Services Group provided engineering assessment and construction services for the installation of a precision welding machine at a facility in North Billerica, MA. Industrial Services assessed the existing foundation and provided a design to support the new welding machine utilizing as much of the existing concrete foundation as possible. Once the design was approved, the foundation was constructed inside a dust containment area so as not to affect other equipment in the same building. The resulting foundation is 36" thick and 10' x 15' with 30 1" posts to support the new welding machine.
