Falmouth Water Treatment Plant - Falmouth, MA
The new Long Pond Water Treatment Plant in Falmouth, MA, provides a water supply that meets stringent federal and state regulations. Methuen Construction was the general contractor for this 8.4 million gallon per day (mgd) WTP that utilizes a Dissolved Air Flotation clarification, intermediate ozone followed by filtration process and direct drilling water intakes to provide 60% of the Town of Falmouth's water. The Methuen Construction project team met Falmouth's aggressive schedule to construct and bring online a new filtration plant to replace the aging Long Pond Pump Station by Spring 2017.
