Marlborough Complex Treatment Plant Upgrade - Marlborough, MA
Methuen Construction was the General Contractor on this project which included improvements to the existing 5.5 mgd Wastewater Treatment Plant and construction of a Phosphorus removal system, necessary to meet effluent permit requirements. A significant portion of the work involved by-pass pumping, as well as temporary tie-ins & phasing as part of the Maintenance of Plant Operations program. Work was carefully planned and executed without interruption to the Marlborough Wastewater Treatment Plant, the existing Resident Drop-off facility, and the WeCare Composting operation.
