Durham Chiller Node Intricate Rigging - Durham, NH
The project entailed the installation of a 500 ton chiller node at the University of New Hampsire's Combined Heat and Power Plant. This included the rigging of a 14 ton 500 ton cooling capacity absorption chiller, an 11 ton roof-top cooling tower, a 3 ton plate and frame heat exchanger, and three circulation pumps. Methuen Construction also installed over 1,000 Linear Feet of welded steel pipe ranging from 1” to 18” in diameter.
