Everett Steel Recycling Facility - Everett, MA
Methuen Construction was the General Contractor for the fabrication and construction of the new steel shredder facility for Schnitzer Northeast. The project required detailed planning, scheduling, and execution of the work by Methuen Construction, and the steel erection and concrete subcontractors. This was especially true regarding the installation and support of the Riverside Engineering M-122 Mega Shredder. The enormous size and weight of the M-122 demanded that the steel support structure and concrete foundations be of the highest quality and precisely executed.
