Methuen Construction is working on the upgrade of the existing wastewater treatment plant in North Brookfield, MA, including the construction of a new Administration and Lab Building; new 50,000 gallon septage storage, pumping, and automated receiving equipment; renovation of the headworks, including mechanical screen, grit handling, and ventilation; reconfiguration of the aeration basins to include anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic zones; replacement of aeration blowers and sludge pumps; construction of new cloth media filters for phosphorus removal; replacement of secondary clarifier mechanical equipment and concrete rehabilitation.
