The Project Team assembled and installed the modular components of a methane gas engine at the Covanta Energy waste-to-energy facility in Haverhill, MA.. The project included concrete placement, equipment setting, underground site work, mechanical construction, and Installation.
The completed power generation engine is fueled by methane gas, a by-product of the facility's landfill. The generator can produce up to 2.5 megawatts of electricity for use on-site or sold to the New England power grid.
