The construction of 3 anaerobic digesters at the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District (GLSD) wastewater treatment plant required extensive coordination and planning due to site limitations. Innovative methods were chosen to ensure the anaerobic digesters functioned as designed, and intensive quality control procedures were put in place to ensure the piping systems performed as designed.
