Leading with Safety: Being A Safety Leader
Teammate George McGee was recently recognized for his proactive approach to safety. George puts safety first whenever planning any scope of work and is the first to regroup and update a plan if anything changes. George has also excelled in training teammates in the safe way to perform tasks and has taken on the role of mentoring teammates on how to complete safety-related paperwork. He is always open to suggestions on how to safely perform a task and will involve everyone in the planning process. George leads the daily activity plan meetings and always engages the entire team on what safety and health hazards they foresee and how we can properly eliminate the hazards. George is a true safety leader and he exemplifies the Methuen Way.
